It was an interesting week in which we learnt so many things and also made new friends besides finding old friends after a long gap. Looking forward to learn something more during the next three weeks.
hi Anil, Glad to hear you felt you learned a lot last week, especially since you are one of the more experienced participants in the workshop and already work with online media. Thanks for your active participation in the course...I think your comments really contribute to the workshop. I look forward to following this blog.
Thanks, Kyle, for your encouraging comments. I am happy that my erswhile colleague in Journalism and now a participant in the ongoing workshop on Online Journalism Mr. Vinod Varshneya has been able to come out of the mindset of a print journalist. It is the prerequiste for entering the blogosphere successfully. This factor seems to be the only reason that well designed and well produced websites of the established newspapers in the West have failed grandly and gravely in their inability to shed their loaded bias for the print media. The Print media is itself responsible for its rapid decay which it is unable to control.
